"Josh the Baby Otter," is a children's book Ashley recently illustrated for the Joshua Collingsworth Memorial Foundation to help promote Water Safety for children. The book was written by Blake Collingworth, alongside with Kathy Collingsworth, after they lost their 2 year old son, Joshua, to a drowning incident. The book and foundation have been created to help educate children and adults about staying away from the water without an adult and getting kids in swim lessons early. The book is in over 16 states, as well as, Australia and Pakistan.
Along with illustrating the book, Ashley does all of the art for the foundation including, brochures, booklets, cards, banners, etc. To learn more, please visit the foundation's website.
Along with original artworks, you can find numerous paintings and drawings Ashley has had made into Giclee prints on canvas and archive paper.
What is a Giclee print? In a giclee print, images are generated from high resolution digital scans and printed with archival quality inks onto various substrates including canvas, fine art, and photo-base paper. The giclee printing process provides better color accuracy than other means of reproduction. "www.gicleeprint.net"
